The Origin of DIRT
DIRT Products was formerly known as Jonathan Products - a high-end hair styling brand co-created with celebrity hair stylist, Jonathan Antin. Our products were well-known and present in L.A. salons, magazines and, beauty department stores. As Jonathan decided to focus his energy on his salon business, we decided to improve the brand and implement our eco-conscious principles with a dermatologically tested brand that balances the scalp and hair microbiome.
Jonathan Products became DIRT Products in 2019 to pay homage to DIRT Texturizing Paste, but with the new ideation that DIRT represents clean, luxury & sustainable. With new products centered around nature-derived elements such as Nectar (infused with real agave Nectar) and Clay (made with bentonite clay & charcoal), we wanted to breathe new light into DIRT and create quality styling products that are as clean as they are eco-friendly.
